About Me
Hello! I am Zhongyu Chen, a junior undergraduate at Zhejiang University and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I am also a robotics researcher at the Physical Intelligence Lab under the supervision of Prof. Hua Chen.
My research focuses on robotics, machine learning, and design. My most recent work centers on whole-body control for bipedal robots with robotic arms, followed by applying diffusion-based methods to achieve pick-and-place manipulation. I have also built underwater robots and designed modular docking structures for them.
My ultimate goal is to become a full-stack engineer who can help robots perform more real-world activities and become more intelligent.
